I am a cattleman’s wife and mother of 12. (I gave birth to 6, and because I don’t believe in the term “in-law” I claim 6 more as my own, ) I now have 18 (as of 11-18-21) of THE cutest, smartest, funniest, and most amazing grandkids on the planet. (I would like 10 times that many!) I love the Lord, my family, writing, art, music, horses, spending time in the mountains, Christmas and Mexican food. My bucket list includes writing and illustrating children’s books, watching a sunset and sunrise (all in the same 24 hours) just above the “pinks” overlooking our ranch, serving a LDS mission with the most handsome cowboy, this side of the Mississippi and living long enough to see each of my children married for time and all eternity in the House of the Lord. On November 8th of 2014 our youngest son, Dallin was injured in an unexpected horse accident, doing what he loved. 13 days later he returned to live with our Heavenly Father. Along with giving us a crash coarse on what is REALLY important in this life, this experience has forever altered us, in more ways than I can adequately express. This blog was created to share what we have learned on this bumpy journey called life and hopefully help others along the way.
~ In loving memory of Dallin James Hunt 1990-2014.
